REVIEW

My friend’s mother’s birthday was coming up and I had no idea what to get her. My friend said her mother mentioned this cookbook, but we had no experience with the writers or the other cookbooks they had apparently written. When the book arrived, we paged through it, and not only do the recipes sound good, but they use ingredients we can find in the typical grocery store! She loved the book for the stories (I didn’t read them, so I can’t comment) and the recipes. When the birthday party was winding down she was reading this book. She wants me to come back soon and be a taste tester. She has always been a fabulous cook, so I would agree to it no matter what. I just didn’t think she’d want another cook book, but here we are. So far I’m feeling like it was a great purchase and gift to this woman who has everything.
